The Apostle James concludes by reminding you that your Christian life is not passive or isolated, but actively involved with Christ in assisting others to continue with you in a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ and each other. “My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins” (Jas 5:19-20). Your true faith in Christ is expressed through His righteous acts in, through and with you towards others whether visible to others or not. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them” (Eph 2:10).
