The Apostle Paul understood that God had set him apart as His spokesperson from birth. “But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles” (Gal 1:15-16a). Paul did not understand God’s purpose for him until Jesus met him on the road to Damascus. The Gentiles were the last people he wanted to minister to. Jesus’ plan for your life may be much different than what you planned also.
