The Apostle Paul’s final request: “From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus.” Paul suffered much at the hands of the Jews and the ungodly. He had physical scars to prove it. You too may be called upon to suffer adversity for the sake of Christ and the gospel. Trust Jesus to be your faithfulness whatever the circumstances. If you do you will be able to offer a similar benediction as Paul did to those whom he taught and loved. “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen” (Gal 6:17-18).
