The Apostle Paul makes it very clear that his whole purpose is to please the Lord Jesus Christ only. “For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ” (Gal 1:10). In the past you spent much of your time trying to please others. As a disciple of Christ your ongoing desire now is to please Jesus in His strength.
