Galatians Devotional 43

The Apostle Paul concludes his argument regarding the consequences of your “natural desire” to be in control of your own spiritual life. “For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another. But I say [God’s wonderful provision in Christ] , walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh” (Gal 5: 14-16). This is so simple, but so hard to set aside your will and yield to Jesus Christ’s.
