The Apostle Paul is surprised that the Galatians seemed to have forgotten their former joy of salvation, their loving concern and care for his weakness. “Where then is that sense of blessing you had? For I bear you witness that, if possible, you would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me. So have I become your enemy by telling you the truth” (Gal 4:15-16)? Due to difficult circumstances of life and the pressure of errant or false teachers you may at one time or another also identify with them. However, Jesus promises you, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you” (Heb 13:5).
