The Apostle Paul refers you to the legal conditions of a contract between two individuals. “Brethren, I speak in terms of human relations: even though it is only a man’s covenant, yet when it has been ratified, no one sets it aside or adds conditions to it” (Gal 3:15). Since God is greater than mankind, the promises that Jesus makes to you are even more sure. So trust Him absolutely, by faith regardless of the circumstances, good or bad. “For He Himself has said, ‘I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you’” (Heb 13:5).
