You and I live within a world system where people agree to a set of principles, but selfishly reserve the option to choose to live contrary to the agreed standard. “If we say that we have fellowship with Him [Jesus] and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth” (1 Joh 1:6). When you act this way, it shows that you are not at that moment in fellowship with Jesus.
