When you trust Jesus Christ as your Savor you have a new identity. “See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him” (1 Joh 3:1). Much of the mankind of the world are non-Christians and are not legitimate “children of God”. They are the children of the world and they belong to another “family” that do not know or belong to Jesus. How blessed you are!
