The Apostle John defines the kind of love that Jesus will express through you. “Do not love the world nor the things in the world.” John then clarifies worldly love. “If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him” (1 Joh 2:15). Jesus explains further, “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth” (Lk 16:13). You or no other can love God perfectly, but do not fail by loving the systems of the world.
