Ephesians Devotional 60

The Apostle Paul, like you, needed the prayer of other Christians also because of the spiritual battle raging around him. “… pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak” (Eph 6:19-20). It is always appropriate to pray with others at all times and circumstances. “To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power” (1 Thes 1:11).
