In the heat of the battle you are to “Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth [Jesus–the truth], and having put on the breastplate of righteousness [Jesus–your righteousness], and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace [Jesus–your peace]” (Eph 6:14-15). Jesus promised deliverance, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand” (Jn 10:27-28).
