You do not, as a believer, stop being a Christian as an employee of your employer. “Slaves, [employee] be obedient to those who are your masters [employers] according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ; not by way of eye service, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart” (Eph 6:5-6). You do not stop being Jesus’ instrument of blessing and testimony in your employment, but you are always to work for your employer, whether he be good or bad, in a way that is pleasing to Jesus Christ.
