Ephesians Devotional 42

With you in mind, The Apostle Paul says, “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma” (Eph 5:1-2). Jesus never used His godly powers while He lived upon the earth, but always did what the Father led Him to do. He said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner” (Jn 5:19). Jesus promises you, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father” (Jn 14:12). Wow! Do you believe?
