The Apostle’s confidence in Christ’s purpose for him; “Of this church [Christ’s Body] I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God” (Col 1:25). No persecution, adversity nor suffering that came against Paul detoured from Christ’s purpose in, through and with him to preach the Gospel where it had not yet been proclaimed. You may also have the same confidence in Christ whatever the stewardship that He has for you.
