The Apostle Paul seems to place conditions upon the Christian life by saying, “if [rather since] indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard” (Col 1:23). However, your Christian life is maintained, established and steadfast by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Your position is to faithfully enjoy Him and His life that He daily expresses in, through and with you!
