Your true spiritual life is also, “increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth” (Col 1: 6). Your maturity as a believer is based upon the understanding of God’s grace. Paul explains, I “thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus, that in everything you were enriched in Him, in all speech and all knowledge” 1 Cor 1:3-5). Jesus Christ is your life (Col 3:4) and your life is continually being enriched by Him.
