There is a yearning for peace in every Christian’s heart. However, as you look for peace all you see is heartache, chaos and war. The Apostle Paul lived and ministered with similar circumstances within the Roman Empire. As he looked to Jesus he enjoyed and declared that God has “made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven” (Col 1:20). You may also enjoy this peace, regardless of the circumstances, as you daily entrust your life into his hands!
