The reasoning of the Apostle Paul for your rejoicing in Jesus was that, “you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth” (Eph 5:8-9). But now “He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son” (Col 1:13). You may be completely unaware of the darkness that surrounds you and the Light of the Lord Jesus Christ appears to you as gray. Stop! Turn to Jesus and begin to enjoy His light within you!
