The Apostle Paul’s confidence and desire was, “I trust in the Lord that I myself also will be coming shortly.” However, Paul was still in jail. “But I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, who is also your messenger and minister to my need” (Php 2:24-25). Epaphroditus had brought the Philippian gift to Paul and remained to care for him in prison. Paul was so appreciative that he rejoiced and called him, “my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier”.
