The Apostle Paul was confident that his imprisonment would not last. Therefore, his response, “Yes, and I will rejoice, for I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ” (Php 1:19). Paul was not discouraged because he knew that Jesus was not done with him and that Christians were praying for his release. You too may have this same confidence until the Lord comes to take you home with Him.
