“Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow” (Jas 1:16-17). You dishonor God when you place the blame on Him for the negative consequences of your bad conduct, negative attitude or behavior. Your every action in life has a corresponding consequence—bad behavior yields a bad reward and good actions yield a good reward. “The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart” (Luk 6:45).
