When you are “walking in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him” then you will “be increasing in the knowledge of God” (Col 1:10); At first the disciples only knew intellectually what John the Baptist said about Jesus, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (Jon 1:29)! However, as they walked with Him they grew to know Him personally. The Apostle Paul expresses it this way, “that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death” (Phi 3:10). You too may enjoy the same relationship as Paul.
