The Apostle Paul writes to the Christians at Colossae saying, “We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have for all the saints” (Col 1:3-5). Paul had not been to Colossae yet, but received Epaphars’ report regarding them. They had, like you, received the Gospel from the testimonies’ of others and Paul was praising God for saving them.
