The Apostle Paul’s motive for writing to the Philippians was love. “For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.” Likewise, Paul’s prayer for you is to love others. “And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment” (Php 1:8-9). This love for others is the Lord Jesus’ desire for you also. “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you” (Jn 15:12).
