The Apostle Paul’s letters have this style of blessing, “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” (Php 1:2). Paul sees himself as the ambassador of Jesus Christ. Consequently, he is Christ’s instrument for conveying Jesus’ message to you, the Philippians and all others who will read and listen to him. Paul in this letter also delivers God’s blessing of grace to His Own, and His grace also bestows His peace on you, the receiver.
